If you are not a United States citizen and care about your present or future immigration status you most certainly need a lawyer who knows and practices in the area where criminal law and immigration law overlap. Many crimes have terrible immigration consequences, including denial of immigration benefits such as DACA, denial of Naturalization and even deportation of Legal Permanent Residents.
